Colin L. Wier is an associate with Wood, Herron & Evans and is involved in all phases of the firm's practice. He has a concentration in electrical, software, and computing system technologies that includes circuits, control systems, software, multimedia, and computing systems. He joined Wood, Herron & Evans in 2007 and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2007.

Colin received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering degree with a concentration in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2004 from the University of Louisville J.B. Speed School of Engineering. He also received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2007.

Prior to joining WH&E, Colin worked as a co-op for Honeywell. During his time at Honeywell, his duties included programming as well as verification and testing of fire panels. He also worked on HVAC systems, building control systems, and building automation systems at Honeywell. Colin has also worked on other projects throughout his career and education, including an IEEE robot competition, an intra-ocular eye implant, artificial neural network simulations, and work on various computing system architectures.

Colin is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and is the Vice President of the Cincinnati Intellectual Property Law Association. He resides in Florence, Kentucky with his wife, Stephany, and their son, Ian. Colin and Stephany also have two dogs, Ike and Mac.
