Two minority Associates join WH&E - 10/26/2007
Two minority Associates joined WH&E today upon being admitted to the Ohio Bar. They are: Ana Jaquez and Ramon Urteaga. Both Ramon and Ana served as Law Clerks at WH&E prior to becoming Associates.
Ana C. Jaquez is focused in the areas of software, Internet, and computer technologies. She has been registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office since 2005. Ana received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Economics from New York University (NYU) in 2003. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2007. During law school, Ana served as Co-President of the Intellectual Property Law Society, and as Vice President of the Hispanic Legal Student Association.
Ramón A. Urteaga concentrates in the area of mechanical technologies. Ramón graduated with honors from the City College of New York in 1993 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. He then graduated with honors from Xavier University in 2002 with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). He received his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from the Salmon Chase College of Law (NKU) in 2007. Prior to joining Wood, Herron & Evans, Ramón spent 12 years as an engineer for The Procter & Gamble Company, where he worked in the areas of Product and Process Development.
