Ana Jaquez speaks at the University of Cincinnati College of Law - 10/31/2007

Ana Jaquez, an Associate at Wood, Herron & Evans, served on a panel at the College of Law's Intellectual Property Law Society on Wednesday 10/31/2007. Ana spoke to the law students about patent law, the new rules from the United States Patent and Trademark Office affecting patent law, and related topics.

Ana is involved in all phases of the firm's practice, with a concentration in the areas of software, Internet, and computer technologies. She was admitted to practice as a lawyer in Ohio in 2007, and has been registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office since 2005.

Ana received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Economics from New York University (NYU) in 2003. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2007. During law school, Ana served as Co-President of the Intellectual Property Law Society and as Vice President of the Hispanic Legal Student Association.
